RC Cubao South Brings Smiles and Services to San Rafael Aeta Community
Rodriguez, Rizal – August 31, 2025
The Rotary Club of Cubao South, together with partner Rotary Clubs from District 3780, brought compassion and service to the San Rafael Aeta Community through a meaningful outreach program at Catmon Elementary School.
The initiative reached around 300 beneficiaries, delivering both essential services and uplifting activities. Families were able to access medical, dental, and optical consultations, along with free medicines. To further care for the community’s well-being, haircutting services and chiropractic massage were also provided.
Adding to the holistic approach, a mini livelihood seminar equipped participants with practical skills in soap making, dishwashing liquid production, and ice cream making—opening opportunities for sustainable income.
Children were not forgotten; a toys gift-giving activity brought joy and bright smiles to their faces. Adults also benefited from educational seminars covering dental care, basic life support, disaster rescue, anti-drug awareness, and moral values recovery, helping strengthen community resilience and knowledge.
This collaborative effort exemplified Rotary’s spirit of service and fellowship, echoing this year’s Presidential Message: “Unite for Good.” The outreach not only addressed immediate needs but also empowered the Aeta community with hope, skills, and lasting impact.
This project was successfully carried out through the dedication of the participating Rotary Clubs of District 3780, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Quezon City APO under the leadership of UFG President Janice Abenis, whose guidance and collaboration ensured the success of the initiative.
