2nd Round of Donations

In a heartfelt display of community spirit and bayanihan, the Rotary Club of Cubao South officially turned over a second wave of relief donations to the Mayor’s Office of Cainta, Rizal, on July 29, 2025. The aid was in response to the recent devastating floods that displaced numerous families, many of whom are still struggling to recover.

The donation turnover was conducted in partnership with the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong headed by Good President Jo-Al Delgado, who contributed 300 bottles of drinking water to support ongoing relief efforts.

Prior to the turnover, RC Cubao South launched a donation drive that garnered overwhelming support from the generous residents of Cambridge Village. The collected goods included used clothing, bags of rice, assorted noodles, coffee, oatmeal, and other essential items—providing much-needed supplies for flood-affected families.

The donations were formally handed over to the Office of the Mayor of Cainta to ensure fair and organized distribution to families still in need as they work to rebuild their lives.

As part of the initiative, members of the Rotary Club of Cubao South and Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong also made a courtesy call to Cainta Mayor Keith Nieto. The meeting served as an opportunity to express gratitude, strengthen ties, and discuss future collaboration—particularly on how Rotary can continue to support the municipality during times of disaster and recovery.
